Sikkim’s modern capital, and a cultural hub. In Gangtok, you will be enjoying a relaxing two day stay and visit Tsomgo and Baba Mandir. After exploring Gangtok, its time to leave for airport/railway station. Hop back abroad your jeep for 126 km drive back to Siliguri where you tour will come to an end.

Itinerary

Day 01: Pickup from New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport & transfer to Gangtok (126 kms / 04 hrs)
Upon your arrival in New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport, our representative will pick you up and transfer to Gangtok- the modern capital of Sikkim and a cultural hub. On the way enjoy the heart-beating highland view along the Teesta River. After you check in to the hotel, you have the rest of the day to spend at your leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 02: Gangtok local sightseeing (Maximum 06 - 07 Hrs)
This morning after breakfast visit tashi view point, ganesh tok, hanuman tok or rumtek monastery, flower show, directorate of handicraft & handloom (closed on sunday), research institute of tibetology (closed on sunday), dro-dul chorten, ropeway, bakthang falls, gunjan monastery, banjhakhri falls . Evening will be free for personal activities & shopping. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 03:- Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
Morning enjoy your breakfast and then drive to Tsomgo Lake, a high altitude lake of Sikkim. Apart from the sightseeing you can also indulge in yak riding here. Further visit Baba Mandir (13,200 feet). Spend some time at the temples and then return to the hotel in Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Note: In the case of a landslide, Tsomgo Lake will remain closed, but a visit to the alternate place will be provided.
Day-04- Gangtok to New Jalpaiguri railway station / Bagdogra airport Drop (126 kms / 04 hrs)
This morning after breakfast we will transfer you to New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport for onward journey.
