The Golden temple is located in the holy city of the Sikhs, Amritsar. The Golden temple is famous for its full golden dome, it is one of the most sacred pilgrim spots for Sikhs. The Mandir is built on a 67-ft square of marble and is a two storied structure. Maharaja Ranjit Singh had the upper half of the building built with approximately 400 kg of gold leaf.
The Golden Temple is surrounded by a number of other famous temples like the Durgiana Temple. The fourth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Ram Das, who had initially constructed a pool here, founded Amritsar, which houses the Golden Temple or Harmandir Sahib.

About the Wagah Border Ceremony
The Wagah Border Retreat Ceremony, also known as the Beating Retreat Ceremony, is a daily military practice that takes place at the Attari–Wagah border between India and Pakistan. The ceremony begins with a parade by soldiers from both sides and ends with the lowering of the flags of both nations. The ceremony takes place every evening, two hours before sunset, at 4:15 PM in winters and 5:15 PM in summers. Entry begins at around 2-3 PM, and seats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no entry fee or need to buy tickets.

Some Facts About The Gurudwara’s

Gurdwara Tarn Taran Sahib Ji (Darbar Sahib) :
When Guru Arjan Dev went on a missionary tour to the Majha region, he chanced upon to see a huge pond near by the village of Khara. The surroundings were also very picturesque. The Guru bought some land from the villagers of Khara and Palasaur. Then he started the work of digging a tank 999 long and 996 broad. There he constructed a Gurdwara on the side of the tank. It is known as Darbar Sahib, Tarn Taran.

Gurdwara Goindwal Sahib Ji or Bauli Sahib :
Guru Amar Das caused a big Baoli dug at Goindwal as a first Sikh pilgrimage. He exhorted the Sikhs that taking bath here is more useful than taking bath at Hardwar. He constructed 84 steps to reach the Baoli (a large oblong tank) and instructed that whosoever takes bath repeating the Japji while sitting on these 84 steps one by one till the last step, is made free form the 84 lacs forms of species and enters heaven. A beautiful Gurdwara was built beside the Baoli.

Gurdwara Khadoor Sahib :
The place where Guru Angad Dev used to address the Sikh congregation, there stands Gurdwara Darbar Sahib. On the precincts of the Darbar Sahib stands a Karir tree which sprouted from the same pole of the Karir wood against which Guru Amar Dass’s foot struck when he was bringing water for Guru Angad Dev to take bath and as a result he fell down.

Gurdwara Baba Budha Ji :
Gurdwara Bir Baba Budha is situated on the right side of village Thatha on the Amritsar Patti road. Baba Budha was a disciple of Guru Nanak. He lived from the period of Guru Nanak till the period of Guru Hargobind Sahib. He invested all the Gurus from Guru Angad Dev to Guru Hargobind Sahib in their high offices. He also used to take care of the Guru’s cattle in the Bir (forest).

On the way to pahalgam, visit  Saffron Fields and Cricket Bat Factories. Once in Pahalgam enjoy the nature and admire the beauty of this quiet place and be in awe of the serene surroundings. Dinner and stay overnight in Pahalgam.

After the breakfast, set our for the full day sightseeing of the valleys of Pahalgam. Start off with the visit to Betaab valley. Betaab Valley is situated at a distance of 15 kilometers from Pahalgam he valley got its name from the Sunny Deol-Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and covered with dense vegetation.

Then visit Aru Valley. Aru Valley is a small yet self-sufficient scenic village located 12 km from Pahalgam.

After that, visit  Chandanwari which is situated at a distance of 16 km from Pahalgam, and is the starting point of the Amarnath yatra that takes place every year in the month of  (July to August).

Later return to the hotel and enjoy dinner and overnight stay in pahalgam.

After breakfast leave from pahalgam to Srinagar. Arrive Srinagar and check in at the houseboat. After freshen up proceed for Srinagar Local Sightseeing.

Visit Mughal Gardens:- Visit Pari Mahal (Palace of Fairies) is a seven terraced garden located at the top of Zabarwan mountain range over-looking city of Srinagar and south-west of Dal Lake. Then visit Chesham Shahi, one of the Mughal gardens built in 1632 AD around a spring by Ali Mardan Khan, a governor of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as per the orders of the Emperor, as a gift for his elder son Prince Dara Shikoh. Also visit Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jehan or (Mehr-un-Nissa).

In the evening enjoy Shikara Ride on world famous Dal Lake in which you will cover, Floating Gardens, Vegetable Gardens, Golden Lake, Inner markets like Mena Bazar, and Canals etc. Also enjoy the scenic view of Zabarwan Mountains. Evening free for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the houseboat.

After breakfast head to Gulmarg, also known as “Meadow of Flowers”.
Gulmarg was discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. In winter Gulmarg looks more beautiful due to heavy snow fall and turns into India’s premier Ski resort. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes, you also can enjoy Gondola Cable Car (Included in tour cost) which offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft. for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter.

After sightseeing return to srinagar and have your dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

After breakfast at the hotel, head toward Sonmarg for a daytrip. The drive is not very hectic as the scenic views will keep you occupied throughout the way. Majestic peaks in the backdrop, and colorful flower-laden meadows make this hill station a must-visit. You can hire ponies for a trip to Thajwas glacier or can enjoy treks along several mountain lakes. It also serves as a base for those undertaking the trek to the Amarnath cave.

Upon arrival at Delhi airport, meet our representative and get assisted transfer from Delhi International Airport to the prebooked hotel.

On the way to hotel visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most prominent Sikh temples in Delhi. As you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by the serene atmosphere and the beautiful architecture of the Gurudwara, characterized by its golden dome and peaceful surroundings. Take time to explore the sacred space, learn about Sikh culture, and, if you wish, participate in the community kitchen (langar), where free meals are served to visitors regardless of their background.

After your enriching experience at the Gurudwara, you’ll proceed to India Gate, a renowned war memorial surrounded by lush gardens. Here, you can enjoy a leisurely walk and take photographs, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere. Your final stop will be Rashtrapati Bhavan, where you can admire the grandeur of the President’s residence from the outside.

In the late afternoon, you’ll make your way to Qutub Minar, another UNESCO World Heritage Site, to admire its towering minaret and surrounding archaeological wonders. After breakfast, embark on a memorable day trip from Delhi to Agra, starting early in the morning with a drive to Agra, which takes approximately 3 to 4 hours.

Upon arrival, your first stop will be the magnificent Taj Mahal, an architectural masterpiece and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can marvel at its stunning white marble façade and learn about its poignant history as a symbol of love.

After exploring the Taj, head to Agra Fort, another UNESCO site, where you can wander through its grand courtyards and impressive structures, enjoying panoramic views of the Taj Mahal from various vantage points.

Following your fort visit, take a break for lunch at a local restaurant, savoring traditional Mughlai cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the beautiful Itimad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, often referred to as the “Baby Taj,” known for its exquisite marble inlay work and serene gardens.

Before heading back to Delhi, you might stop at Mehtab Bagh, a garden complex that offers a stunning sunset view of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River. After a fulfilling day of exploration, you will return to Delhi in the evening, reflecting on the unforgettable sights and experiences of Agra.

After a leisurely breakfast, spend the day on your own doing the activities of your own interest or you may opt for the shopping tour to famous markets of Delhi like Chandni Chowk, Lajpat Nagar market, Sarojini Nagar Market, etc.
