This Seven days Takht Yatra in Punjab tour starts from Amritsar (Punjab)  where you see the spectacular Golden Temple. Harmandir Sahib famously known as Golden temple is home to the Akal Takht. After this you drive to Bhatinda to see the Takht Sri Damdama Sahib.  From Bhatinda you drive to Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, located in Anandpur Sahib.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Amritsar
Upon arrival at Amritsar airport, meet our representative and get assisted transfer to the hotel. Check in Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Stay overnight in Amritsar.

Day 2: Amritsar - Bathinda (Takht Sri Damdama Sahib)
Morning after breakfast check out and proceed to Bathinda. Upon arrival, visit Takht Sri Damdama sahib. Located in Bathinda, Punjab, Takht Sri Damdama Sahib is one of the 5 takhts in Sikhism. Takhts, also called Seats of Temporal Authority are religious places which hold significant importance in Sikh religion. The one in discussion is where the tenth Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, assembled and instituted the Holy Book of Sikhs, Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The book is the only thing which the Sikhs worship. Not a person, picture or any statue, just Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the Holy Book which is the compilation of the hymns, teaching and preaching of the Sikh Gurus and some other people.

Sri Damdama Sahib was recognised as the 4th Takht of Sikhism in November of 1966 by Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee and 5th Takht of Sikhism by the Government of India in April of 1999.

Day 3: Bathinda to Chandigarh
On day 3, after checking out from the hotel, proceed to Chandigarh. Visit the rose and rock garden. In the evening visit Sukhna lake. You can also visit the famous markets. Later spend overnight in Chandigarh.

Day 4: Chandigarh to Anandpur to Amritsar
After breakfast proceed to Anandpur sahib. Visit Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib – Located in Anandpur Sahib, Punjab. This Takht is significant for its association with the Khalsa formation and Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
The city of Anandpur Sahib is most famous for its multitude of Gurudwaras that were built to commemorate various Sikh Gurus. There are five forts around the town that testify to the city’s military history. Today, Anandpur Sahib is one of the holiest places in the world for Sikhs, and thousands of visitors come to this city to pray and take blessings from the sacred Gurudwaras of this town.
After sightseeing proceed to Amritsar and stay overnight.

Day 5: Amritsar (Takht Sri Harmandir Sahib)
Post breakfast, visit the world-famous Golden temple. One of the most spiritual places in India, the Golden Temple, also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib, is the holiest shrine in all of Sikhism. The main Temple housing the shrine is a small part of the vast complex known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib to the Sikhs. The spiritual focus is the tank, the Amrit Sarovar, which surrounds the glistening central shrine. Golden Temple is indisputably one of the most exquisite attractions in the world.
After darshan you can spend time on your own/ day free for shopping.
Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 6: Amritsar Local Gurudwara Sightseeing
Post breakfast, proceed to visit Tarn Taran Sahib, Gurudwara Gobindwal Sahib, Gurudwara Baba Deep Singh Sahib, Gurudwara Baba Atal Sahib. Later come back to the hotel. In the evening witness the retreat ceremony at Wagah Border. Later return to the hotel and stay overnight in Amritsar.

Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, the day will be free at leisure. You can shop around or visit the local gurudwaras by walk. Later get assisted transfer to Amritsar airport for your flight back to home.
