Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi Airport meet our representative you will transfer you to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
Post breakfast, visit the day by visiting Laxmi Narayan Temple, India Gate- a cenotaph commemorating Indian martyrs, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Jama Masjid- India’s largest mosque. Also cisit the famous Qutab Minar, Humayun’s Tomb and Jantar Mantar observatory. Pay homage at Raj Ghat- Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial. Later, witness the light and show at Red Fort, a striking beauty in red sandstone. After the long day return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi - Patna
Today, get transferred to Delhi airport to board flight to Patna, an ancient Buddhist capital of Patliputra. On arrival at Patna aiport, get assisted transfer to the hotel. check in at the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Patna
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to visit Vaishali, where the Buddha delievered his last sermon. Later return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Patna
Day 05: Patna- Rajgir
In the morning after breakfast, we will hit the road to Rajgir, where Buddha delivered sermon at the “Vultures peak” and the first Buddhist council was held after his death. Here, we will reach the Vultures peak by cable car. En-route, we visit Nalanda University, one of the greatest universities of the ancient world. Later return to the hotel. Overnight stay in Rajgir.
Day 06: Rajgir- Bodhgaya
Today, after breakfast, we will drive to Bodhgaya, the place where Buddha attained Enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Upon arrival check in at the hotel in Bodhgaya for an overnight stay.
Day 07: Bodhgaya
In the morning, set out to visit the Mahabodhi temple and sit under the Bodhi tree of enlightenment. Visit Niranjan river and Later return to the hotel for a night stay. Ovenight stay in Bodhgaya.
Day 08: Bodhgaya - Varanasi
Today, we will drive to Varanasi. On arrival at Varanasi, check in at the hotel to relax and spend rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy a night stay in Varanasi.
Day 9: Varanasi
Today, proceed for a dawn boat cruise on the sacred river Ganges, where prayers are performed towards the rising sun. Post breakfast in the morning, visit Sarnath, located at a distance of 10 kilometers from Varanasi. The famous Buddhist chant “Buddham Sharanam Gachhami” was originated here. Later in the afternoon, go for a sightseeing tour of Varanasi- Benares Hindu University ,Durga Temple, Vishwanath Temple andMarble Temple. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10: Varanasi- Kushinagar
Today, the day is free at leisure until afternoon. In the afternoon, drop at railway station to board train to Kushinagar. Kushinagar is the place where Lord Buddha achieved salvation. On arrival at Kushinagar railway station, our representative will be there to assist you and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Kushinagar.
Day 11: Kushinagar
Post breakfast, go for sightseeing tour and visit the modern temples and the ancient stupas and see the spectacular Buddha Statue. Later, come back to the hotel to relax for overnight stay.
Day 12: Kushinagar - Lumbini
Today, we will drive and cross the border into Nepal to Lumbini, birthplace of Lord Buddha. After visiting the beautiful Lumbini, enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Lumbini.
Day 13: Lumbini - Kathmandu
Morning time is few at leisure. Later, in the afternoon, take flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu get assisted transfer to your pre-booked. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 14: Kathmandu
In the morning after breakfast, set out to visit the two ancient and magnificent stupas of Swayambunath, a UNESCO world heritage site, and more than 2000 yrs old.. Rest of the day will be free for shopping and exploring the markets. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 15: Kathmandu
Post breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath temple and Bouddhanath Stupa, both of which are UNESCO World Heritage Site.Later, in the afternoon, set off for a sightseeing tour of Bhakatapur. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 16: Kathmandu - Delhi
Day is free until your flight. Later, we will transfer you to the airport to baord the flight for Delhi international airport. Arrive in Delhi and get an assisted transfer to the pre booked hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 17: Departure
Today day is free at leisure. In the afternoon transfer to the airport for your onwards journey.
