Itinerary

Day 01: Delhi - Rishikesh
You are to board the Shatabdi Express train to Haridwar in the morning which departs at 06:55 a.m from Delhi. You will arrive Haridwar railway station by 11:30 a.m from where our representative will assist you to reach Rishikesh which is approx. 25 Kms from Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into the camp located on the bank of the river Ganges.  You will be briefed about the activities here at the camp. Later, you go to Shivpuri which is the abode of Lord Shiva and famous for the temple.  It is also famous for adventure sports like river rafting and rock climbing. Today you will raft about 20 kms to Rishikesh and get familiar with the paddling commands, safety techniques and about how to negotiate rapids. Later return to the camp and enjoy the barbeque dinner. Stay overnight at the camp in Rishikesh.
Day 02 : Rishikesh – Kaldubagarh
In the morning after breakfast check out and drive to Kaldubagarh which is another famous tourist spot located along the River Alaknanda. On the way, halt at Devprayag which is the one of the panch Prayag of Alaknanda River where The River Alaknanda, Saraswati and Bhagirathi meet and take the name Ganga River. On arrival check into the camps and get personal kits ready. Stay overnight in the camp.
Day 03 : Kaldubagarh - Chamoli
You would have to start early morning today and drive to Chamoli which is about an hour drive from the camp. Chamoli is the second largest district of Uttarakhand which offers the tourists a variety of sightseeing destinations. You will start the river rafting after the safety check and detailed safety briefing. The rafting will be approx. 30 kms with nearly 40 rapids with a lot of grade 4/4+ rapids and we will negotiate or try to go around the Hillary fall, a rapid at Nandprayag. We call it a day at Kaldubagarh after the long exhilarating day. Overnight stay at the camp.
Day 04 : Kaldubagarh to Gauchar Rafting
Today you will raft till Gauchar. You will raft down a series of 20 class 3/3+ rapids which takes around 4 hours.Later stay at camp in Gauchar which is located approx. 7 kms upstream.
Day 05: Raft till Rudraprayag
Today you will raft till Rudraprayag, which is the one of the panch Prayag of Alaknanda River, the point of confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. It would be a 5 hour rafting covering approx. 30 kms of class3 /4+ rapids including at portage at Kalkar Falls. Later you will drive down to Rishikesh and stay overnight at camp in Rishikesh.
Day 06: Rishikesh - Delhi
Post breakfast day is free at leisure till afternoon and you will be dropped at Haridway railway station for your train back to Delhi by Shatabdi Express train and you will arrive at 10:30 pm. Later get assisted transfer to the airport by our representative.
