Itinerary

Day 1: Delhi
Upon arrival at the Delhi airport, meet our representative who will provide a smooth transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Check-in at the hotel to and enjoy the cozy comfort in its room. Spend the entire day resting and relaxing. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi
In the morning after breakfast, leave for a long tour through the capital city. Start with the Laxmi Narayan Temple and then proceed to India Gate- a cenotaph commemorating Indian martyrs, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Jama Masjid -India’s largest mosque. Visit the Qutab Minar, historical, Humayun’s Tomb, Purana Quila and Jantar Mantar observatory. Pay homage at Raj Ghat, Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial. Later, witness the vivacious Light & Sound Show at Red Fort, a striking beauty in red sandstone. Return to hotel for overnight stay. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi – Indore
This morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and get transferred to Delhi airport to board the flight to Indore. Upon arrival get assistance from our representative and reach the hotel booked for you. Later, proceed to visit Indore, the largest city of Madhya Pradesh. The major tourist attractions of Indore include Indore Museum, Chhatris, Lal Bagh Palace, Kanch Mandir, Mahatma Ghandhi Hall and the Nehru Park. In the evening you may visit Chokhi Dhani, the Rajasthan heritage resort built on the outskirts of Indore. Later return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 4: Indore – Omkareshwar – Maheshwar – Mandu
Post breakfast, check out and hit the road to Mandu. En-route halt at Omkareshwar and Maheshwar. The abode of one of the twelve Jyotirlingas makes Omkareshwar one of the sacred Hindu sites of India. Visit the temple of Shri Omkar Mandhata, Siddhnath temple and the temple of Gauri Somnath. Also visit the huge Nandi bull carved on the hillside opposite the temple of Gauri Somnath. After that head towards the town of Maheshwar. The temples to visit in Maheshwar include Ahilyeshwar temple, Jaleshwar temple and the Rajarajeswara temple. After paying visit to all the temples, proceed to Mandu. On reaching Mandu, check-in at the pre-booked hotel followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Mandu
After an early breakfast, proceed to visit the Bagh Caves. These nine caves are famous for its paintings which closely resemble to those present in Ajanta caves. Later proceed for the sightseeing tour of Mandu which includes Jahaz Mahal, Rupmati Pavilion, Rewa Kund and the Hindola Mahal. After the visit return to the hotel and enjoy a sumptuous dinner followed by overnight stay.

Day 6: Mandu – Ujjain – Bhopal
Post breakfast proceed to Bhopal by road. En-route visit Ujjain. The major sightseeing places of Ujjain include Bhartruhari Caves, Bade Ganeshji Ka Mandir, Chaubis Khamba Temple, Gopal Mandir, Gomti Kund and the Kaliadeh Palace. Later, continue drive towards Bhopal. Upon arrival at Bhopal, complete the check-in formalities. After relaxing for a while, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Bhopal, the magnificent city of Nawabs. The major tourist attractions to visit are Moti Masjid, Shaukat Mahal, Lakshmi Narayan temple, Bharat Bhavan, Rastriya Manav Sangrahalaya, Lower Lake and the Upper Lake. Later, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7: Bhopal – Sanchi Excursion
Post breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Sanchi. It is the famous Buddhist pilgrimage site. This world heritage site houses the stupas which contain relics of Buddha. The major tourist attractions to visit in Sanchi include Great stupa, Stupa 3, Ashoka Pillar, Mauryan apsidal, Temple 17. In the eastern area visit temple 45 while in the southern area visit Temple 40. The great stupa in Sanchi was commissioned by Emperor Ashoka. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Bhopal – Bhimbetka – Bhojpur – Bhopal
After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing trip to Bhimbetka and Bhojpur. The Bhimbetka rock shelters are located in the foothills of the Vindhyan Mountains. The five clusters of natural rock shelters, display paintings that belongs to the Mesolithic Period. UNESCO had put these rock shelters in the World Heritage List in 2003. After exploring the Bhimbetka caves return to the hotel in Bhopal followed by dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9: Bhopal – Pachmarhi
Post breakfast, drive towards Pachmarhi. Situated at an altitude of 1,067 feet, Pachmarhi offers a variety of attractions ranging from ancient caves to beautiful monuments. The lustrous greenery combined with the majestic hills and the cascading waterfalls are there to please every visitor. On reaching Pachmarhi, check-in at one of our listed hotels. Spend the remaining day resting and relaxing in the hotel room. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10: Pachmarhi
Next morning after breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Pachmarhi. The major tourist attractions of Pachmarhi include Handi Khoh, Jata Shankar Caves, Pandava caves, Apsara Vihar, Bee Fall, Chauragarh Peak, Mahadeo hill and the Duchess Falls. Also visit the Priyadarshini Point to get panoramic vistas of the whole town of Pachmarhi from a hilltop. Stay the night in the hotel.

Day 11: Pachmarhi – Kanha National Park
Early in the morning leave for Kanha National Park. The Kanha National Park is one of the finest wildlife areas which has also provided inspiration to Rudyard Kipling for his famous novel “Jungle Book”.  The park is filled with large varieties of flora and fauna and is best known for the swamp deer. On reaching Kanha National Park, get accommodated at one of our listed wildlife resort. Later that day, enjoy bird watching accompanied by the naturalist. In the evening return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Kanha National Park
Early in the morning, move out to enjoy jeep safari to observe wildlife at the thick and lush green forest of Kanha National Park. Explore the majestic species residing in the National Park. Jeep safari can be done two times a day, one in the early morning hour and other in the late afternoon. Jeep safari is best to cover those areas which is not possible to cover by any other means. After the safari return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: Kanha – Bandhavgarh
Post breakfast check out from the hotel and begin driving to the Bandhavgarh National Park located at a distance of 220 kms from Kanha. Known for its highest density of tiger population in India and for being a natural hub for White Tigers, this national park has is also a breeding ground for various species of deer and leopards. Once you arrive at the Bandhvgarh national park, complete the check-in formalities at the lodge. In the afternoon, post lunch, indulge in wildlife viewing during a jungle safari. Post dinner, overnight stay at lodge.

Day 14: Bandhavgarh National Park
Today, enjoy two jeep safaris in the Bandhavgarh National Park. In the morning, enjoy a jeep safari in the park and elephant safari in the evening. During your safari, you can spot animals like sambar, Bengal tigers, grey mongoose, sloth bear, python, rat snake, red jungle fowl, nilgai, chinkara, wild boar and many more. Stay overnight in bandhavgarh.Stay overnight in the camp.

Day 15: Bandhavgarh – Khajuraho
After breakfast, proceed to Kahjuraho by road. Located in the Bundelkhand region this small town is famous for groups of Hindu and Jain temples. The temples of Khajuraho are the UNESCO World Heritage Site for their beautiful rock carvings. Upon reaching Khajuraho, check-in at the pre-booked hotel. Later, visit the major tourist attractions of Western Group of Kahjuraho temples including Lakhmana temple, Kandariya Mahadeo temple, Devi Jagdamba temple, Chaunsat Yoginiand the Vishwanath temple while the Eastern Group of temples include Parsvanath temple, Ghantai temple, Adinath temple and the Vamana temple. Post sightseeing, return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 16: Khajuraho – Orchha
In the morning after breakfast, hit the road to Orchha. On reaching Orchha, check-in at the hotel. After relaxing and resting till lunch, embark on a sightseeing tour of Orchha covering the Chandreshekhar Azad Memorial, Chhatris, Dauji Ki Haveli, Raja Mahal and the Laxmi Narayan temple. Later return to the hotel and enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Orchha.

Day 17: Orchha – Gwalior

In the morning after breakfast, proceed to Gwalior. Upon your arrival at Gwalior, check-in at the hotel. And then cover the major tourist attractions of Gwalior including Gwalior Fort, Jai Vilas Palace, Man Mandir Palace, Teli Ka Mandir, Suraj Kund, Padavali temple and the Bateshwar valley. Stay overnight in Gwalior.

Day 18: Gwalior – Agra
Post breakfast leave for Agra by road. On reaching Agra, check-in at the pre-booked hotel. After resting for a while, set off to visit the major tourist attractions of Agra covering Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb, Ram Bagh, Diwan-i-am, Diwan-i-khas and the Aram Bagh. After the visit return to the hotel for the dinner and overnight stay.

Day 19: Agra – Delhi
Early morning, enjoy the sightseeing of the famous ‘Taj Mahal’ followed by Agra Fort, the former demesne of the Mughal rulers. Also, stroll in the local markets and purchase some souvenir items. Later check out and proceed to Delhi and get transferred at Delhi airport to board a flight for onward journey.
